The Multiblend MB400 has been designed and developed, by Pharmatech, as a highly versatile tumble blender. It is ideal for blending both powders and granules.

The MB400 can handle a wide range of sizes and shapes of blending containers (including drums, IBCs, double cones and V shells).

The MB400 Blender is suitable for use as both an R&D Blender in development laboratories and as a Production blender in the factory. The MB400 blender is designed to be GMP compliant.

The MB400 Blender is the ideal machine for blending 200L (45 gallon) stainless steel drums.

Many production processes are based around batch sizes of 1,500 to 2,000 litres. This makes the MB400 ideally suited for blending tenth scale validation batches.

The MB400 is ideal for use as a production blender for smaller batch sizes.

The MB400 can handle any shape of blending container:
- Drums
- IBCs
- Double Cones
- V shells (these are sometimes called Vee Cones or Y Cones)
- Cubes etc.

A Demonstration MB400 is available for use for on-site blending trials. The Demonstration Blender comes complete with:
- MB400 blender drive unit complete with drum clamp
- A free-standing operator control panel
- A pair of infra-red safety guards
- 200L stainless steel open top drum
